The ceremony, set for March 2, 2025, will air live on ABC stations as normal, with Hulu users able to watch a taped version of the events starting March 3, 2025.

The Oscars joins the other big awards show early next year, the 2025 Golden Globes, which will stream on Paramount+ alongside being aired live on CBS. Clearly, there is an effort now to make these shows available on streaming. It adds value to the platform and it’s clearly where a lot of the audience wants to be watching.

For the first time ever, the Oscars will be available to stream live on Hulu, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday morning. The ceremony will also air live on ABC, as usual.
