Water main break in Aiea affects over 50 homes and three businesses, with Board of Water Supply working on repairs.

Fifty-four townhomes and three commercial properties remain without water service while crews repair the main break that sent water shooting into the air yesterday in Aiea.

Drivers coming in and out of Aiea were shocked to see a geyser coming from Kiliohu Loop and Kilinoe Street on Tuesday, Dec. 3 evening.

The Board of Water Supply has completed repairing a 16-inch water main break in Aiea causing dozens of customers to lose their water.

Over 50 townhomes and three businesses are without water due to a broken 4-inch main valve in Aiea.The Board of Water Supply said the broken main valve is near 98-452 Kilinoe Street, and crews had to isolate a 16-inch water main break to carry out the repairs.
