Missouri leading scorer Caleb Grill was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, according to a team spokesperson, after suffering an injury to his head and neck during Wednesday night's home game against Lindenwood.

Missouri guard Caleb Grill was discharged from the hospital last night after being stretchered off with an injury against Lindenwood, the program said in a statement. Testing showed he did not suffer a spinal cord injury.

Medical staff tended to Caleb Grill for nearly 10 minutes on Wednesday night after he went down with the injury.
