Macy's has released a list of 66 "underproductive" stores it plans to close, three are in Georgia. More closures are expected at a later date.

Macy’s Inc. unveils a list of more than 60 stores slated to close this year as the retailer struggles to right itself amid diminishing foot traffic at remaining stores and breathe new life into its business.

Macy’s on Thursday named 66 stores it plans to shutter this year through its "Bold New Chapter" initiative. The locations are spread across 22 states.
