The Los Angeles Chargers have placed running back J.K. Dobbins on the injured reserve due to a knee injury. Dobbins suffered an MCL sprain on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens.

Dobbins (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Head coach Jim Harbaugh suggested earlier in the week the talented running back would be out some time, and now we know Dobbins will miss at minimum four weeks due to a knee sprain.

Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins declined to speak to a reporter Friday after the team practiced and before they boarded their chartered aircraft that would take them to Atlanta. Dobbins is likely to be placed on injured reserve on Saturday because of a sprained right knee.
