The Nintendo Switch 2 will be adding GameCube games to the Nintendo Switch Online service, but I would much rather just be able to own them.

As Nintendo revealed during its big, hour-long Switch 2 Direct, anyone who’s subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack tier will be getting access to a curated library of emulated Gamecube games.

This week, Nintendo fans received two important pieces of information about GameCube controller functionality on the Switch 2, both of which suggest the original Switch could have better GameCube controller support.
