For the following two winter seasons, Celebrity has scheduled seven-night sailings of the larger and newer Apex out of Port Canaveral

Today, Celebrity Cruises begins sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida! Celebrity Equinox will offer 7-night Caribbean cruises to destinations including the Bahamas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, and Belize.

The cruise line that touts its connection to “The Love Boat” made its debut from Port Canaveral on with the arrival of its first ship to call the Orlando-area port home. Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess made its way to the port late in November to begin a winter of mostly six- and eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
