Summerlin South suffered its first loss of the Little League World Series on Wednesday and will play an elimination game Thursday.

LAS VEGAS ( FOX5) — The Summerlin South Little League team took its first loss of the Little League World Series Wednesday against the Metro Division, represented by Connecticut, 7-3.

The Summerlin South Little League team came up short on Wednesday, losing to Metro Region Fairfield, Connecticut. It was a battle of two previously undefeated teams.

But first, they have to contend with another undefeated team. They'll take on the Metro Region champs from Fairfield, Connecticut. First pitch is Wednesday at noon on ESPN.
