Uno just put down a wild card for its Central Texas players. Contrary to popular belief, Las Vegas won't be the only city where you'll be able to stack cards and switch hands for a little friendly competition.
Rumors have been swirling online that UNO, the popular card game created by Mattel, would be making its debut on the casino floors in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, Mattel has stepped in to set the record straight.
Mattel said in a post on the UNO Facebook page on Monday that other pop-up UNO Social Clubs are coming to bars in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, and Austin. The company recently opened a pop-up UNO Social Club at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
The "UNO Social Club" will soon come to bars in cities across the country, including Chicago, the brand announced on social media.
On Friday, Mattel is opening the doors to the first-ever UNO Social Club, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, and the plan is to debut more across the country later in the year, the company announced in a May press release.
