Singer/songwriter Jackson Browne’s eldest son, Ethan Browne, has died, according to a statement posted on the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer's website.

The 8x Grammy-nominated Jackson announced the death of his oldest son, whom he shared with his late wife Phyllis Major, in a statement after Ethan died on Tuesday in his home. A cause of death was not immediately made available.
