President Donald Trump’s effort to transfer migrants from the United States to the Naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba is being buffeted by concerns inside and outside his administration.

A federal judge expressed doubts toward those challenging the federal policy, a potentially favorable sign for President Trump as he seeks to clamp down on immigration.

Former immigration enforcement officials warned of the conditions, including the use of strip searches and shackles, approximately 290 migrants had been held in at the military base.
