Nashville-area native Josef Newgarden and his injured left foot are looking forward to 75 additional laps at this year's Music City Grand Prix.

The IndyCar Series is at Nashville for the Music City Grand Prix, a 300-lap race on the 1.33-mile tri-oval.

Just how dominant has Josef Newgarden been on ovals recently? He has won 13 of the last 30 NTT INDYCAR SERIES races on circle tracks, a strike rate of 43 percent, and his last 10 wins have come on ovals.

The rescheduled Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix IndyCar Series race is set for 2 p.m. Central on July 20 at Nashville Superspeedway. IndyCar postponed the race originally scheduled for July 19 after rain twice fell on the track.
