Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards said he studies Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic for strategies on beating double teams.

Anthony Edwards has embraced a different role with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic may be to thank.

According to StatsPerform, Edwards surpassed 2,000 career two-pointers against the the Nuggets. Combined with over 1,000 career 3-pointers made, a milestone he surpassed on Feb. 7 against the Houston Rockets, Edwards is the youngest player ever to reach both milestones -- besting Doncic, who reached those marks at 24 years old, by over a year.
