The voice actor behind Bowser and the rest of the Nintendo movie's cast joined forces for the "Tonight Show" segment.

“Mario” video game fans are in for another treat with “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” the sequel to the first animated blockbuster that grossed more than $1 billion at the box office in 2023. Nearly every scene is jam-packed with Easter eggs and references to past “Mario” games, plus there are a ton of musical nods to games throughout the series.

“ Luigi Mangione, number two,” he said, referring to the man accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a New York sidewalk in December 2024. You can see Day’s response in the clip below.

In the Tonight Show clip above, Black combines with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie cast Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Keegan-Michael Key, Benny Safdie, Brie Larson, Glen Powell and Donald Glover to perform "The Ballad of Super Mario", which is every bit as silly as it is entertaining.
