i have a minidisc deck hooked up via optical ins/outs to my computer....what is the best possible way to get these tracks off of the minidisc onto pc?...software needed/recommended etc...never done ...

I've got some friends who are into recording live shows and do so with minidisc recorders (on a side note, this is done with permission of the bands they are recording, sometimes they get soundboard ...
