Stephen Curry is the first player in NBA history with 4,000 3-pointers. He did it a day before his 37th birthday.

Obviously, Curry isn't playing 82 games. But if he averages, say, 60 games per season over the next three seasons or so, he'd likely be able to push his record out to 5,000 3-pointers.

Making a 3-pointer in an NBA game is an extremely rare feat. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar only did it once. Steph Curry did it 3,999 more times.
