Stranger Things is officially over, though it’s still heavy on many minds, including my own. The super-sized episodes of this blockbuster concluding season have been praised and maligned in great detail by publications across the board,

The Stranger Things series finale fell short by not including more significant character deaths, undermining the stakes and emotional impact.

The consequence is an erosion of the tension which once defined the series’ unique trump card. When characters do meet a grisly end in season five, it’s almost always faceless military soldiers who pay the price – a routine writing fallback which betrays a reluctance to risk meaningful loss à la Thrones.

Stranger Things has drawn the curtains, leaving fans wondering about Eleven's fate. While theories continue to swirl, wanderlust has taken over for some, prompting them to backpack to a remote waterfall they believe may be where Eleven found her ending.

So much for the “Never Ending Story” singalong between Dustin and Suzie, as Stranger Things 5 ended with Dustin getting excited over Stacey inviting him to a party, despite it previously being established that Dustin and Suzie had a long-distance relationship.
