The San Francisco 49ers are preparing themselves to lose cornerback Charvarius Ward this offseason, as the former Pro Bowler has stated it'll be difficult for him to remain in the state after he dealt with a tragedy last year.

There are three excellent defenders from the 49ers' 2024 roster that are now free agents. That includes safety Talanoa Hufanga, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, and cornerback Charvarius Ward. Of all three, Ward seems the least likely to return.
