Martin Short is opening up about grief in a new interview, less than three months after the loss of his eldest daughter.

Before Martin Short ever sat down with CBS to talk about mental illness, his daughter was already doing the work.

“My daughter fought for a long time with extreme mental health, borderline personality disorder, other things, and did the best she could, until she couldn’t,” Short said.
