‘Spider-Noir' Trailer: First Look at Nicolas Cage's Dark Take on Spider-Man and Premiere Date
Cage has his first leading TV role in Prime Video's live-action take on the Marvel superhero in 1930s New York.
Spider-Man is running out of amazing friends at this
Spider-Noir,” a new Marvel TV series, will be released in two versions: one in color, and an “authentic black and white” version to better replicate the look of the classic noir films the show is paying tribute to.
The first trailer for Spider-Noir had some monstrous surprises in store for Nicolas Cage’s 1930s-era superhero.
We already know that one story element of Spider-Noir will be the fact that “The Spider” was the only superhero of his world during his active years. However, now it’s been confirmed that Spider-Noir will feature at least 5 Marvel Comics characters – including one Spider-Man villain who has never been in the live-action movies!
Interestingly, Spider-Noir will have its world premiere on MGM+’s linear broadcast channel on May 25, meaning those with cable or powerful digital antennas can watch this series without a streaming subscription. Following its debut, the entire 8-episode series will drop all at once globally on Amazon Prime Video on May 27.
