The former "Today" and "The View" co-host is launching a new daytime talk show, titled "The Meredith Vieira Show," which will be nationally syndicated by NBCUniversal in September 2014.

Meredith Vieira’s new daytime talk show doesn’t launch for another seven months — but in the “we needed it five minutes ago” world of TV, that’s akin to a 24-hour deadline.

The Meredith Vieira Show, hosted and executive produced by Vieira, launched in September 2014 and received a quick Season 2 renewal by its launch group, the NBC Owned Television Stations.

Still, Vieira will retain a touch of home when her show premieres Monday (2 p.m./Ch. 4), sitting on a chair taken from her living room and surrounded by familiar family photos.
