Copilot for Gaming is a new concept Microsoft revealed on Thursday. It's intended to be a helper that works on both the Xbox console and app, with the idea being that AI can help gamers in different scenarios and act as a sidekick.

The most intriguing part of the current Copilot for Gaming demo came when Copilot offered "a recap of where you left off" to fill the time during installation. The AI voice then proceeded to go into specifics about how the player's last fight "didn't go as planned" when "your base was destroyed by the beast."
