Cape Girardeau ends boil water advisory after clean tests confirm no contamination, following a water main break near Cape Rock Water Treatment Plant.

A representative with the City of Cape Girardeau stated the precautionary boil water advisory was issued after a large water main break occurred near the Cape Rock Water Plant. Due to the break, customers should expect lower water pressure, the city says. They also said to boil and cool water before drinking it.
