SEATAC, Wash. — Biometric verification is coming to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport's CLEAR lanes ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Starting Tuesday, CLEAR+ will takeoff for testing at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Ronald Reagan National Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The company said they were testing locations ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 games, which will be in Atlanta next summer.
Earlier this month, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced that in certain airports, families will have their own dedicated screening lanes as part of a new initiative called “Families on the Fly.” That follows a change ending the Transportation Security Agency’s “shoes off” travel policy.
CLEAR airport security members get to skip the line at TSA checkpoints, saving time and stress. Membership costs $199 a year, but you might have free or discounted access through work or airlines.
