Organizers said the protests were a direct response to what they characterize as the Trump administration’s “brazen rollback” of civil and human rights.

"Good Trouble Lives On" protests across the U.S. are set for July 17 to protest the Trump administration and to honor civil rights activist John Lewis.

Over 1,000 "Good Trouble" protests — similar to previous No Kings protests — are scheduled for July 17, with around 60 planned across Michigan, including near Livingston County.
