India's skipper for the first Test against Australia in Perth, Jasprit Bumrah is the new No.1 bowler in the longest format of the game. In the latest ICC rankings update, Bumrah has earned the career-best ratings after picking up eight wickets at the Optus Stadium that helped India win by 295 runs.

The visitors were bowled out for 150 on Day 1, however, turned it around to win the Test match by 295 runs on the back of eight wickets from Jasprit Bumrah and 161-run innings by Yashasvi Jaiswal

Kohli was instrumental in India's win over Australia in Perth, scoring an unbeaten century in the second innings. The century was Kohli's ninth against Australia, seven of which have been scored Down Under.
