Kieran Tierney is back and has been spotted in Arsenal training. The Scot last played for the Gunners back in August 2023. He came on as a substitute in the Community Shield win against Manchester City. Tierney then spent a year on loan in Spain at Real Sociedad, where he had a decent campaign. However, injuries once again troubled him there.

Boss Arteta confirmed that the defender is contention to be involved at the Estádio José Alvalade. He said: "Everybody in the squad is fully fit and available to start the game. We have Kieran Tierney after a long injury, it’s great news that he’s back, he’s been training with the team and he’s at the level to participate."

Tierney has now been in full training with the team for the last week, following his recent return to fitness. But this will be his first appearance in an Arsenal squad since his
