Thanksgiving day will be the tale of two different weather types in the Philadelphia region — rain in the morning, clearing skies and breezy in the afternoon.

Philadelphia experiences rainy Thanksgiving Day with poor visibility and high humidity, followed by clearer skies tonight.

The Philadelphia area will see rain in the morning before sunny and breezy conditions later in the day on Thanksgiving.

The focus will be a west wind that keeps snow generally east of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Snow will really pile up in these areas as they may see a few feet of snow through Sunday night. Just flakes around Rochester and Monroe County throughout this period.
