An active weather pattern will set up shop across Texas this week with pockets of heavy rainfall, which is uncommon for the second half of August.

The heaviest rainfall from our output of the model averages shows the northern third of Lower Michigan at least getting one-half inch to one inch of rain. The southwest shoreline also looks to have at least one-half inch. The rest of the southern half of Lower Michigan should have at least one-quarter to one-half inch of rain.

The heavier rain will continue to fizzle out as we get closer to midnight. Most of the night is quiet with a few lingering sprinkles overnight.
