Southampton’s Russell Martin and Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler claim lack of respect after bad-tempered draw - Southampton’s Cameron Archer had a goal controversially disallowed as his side shared the spoils with Brighton.

A visibly frustrated Hurzeler said there's "no explanation" for that decision as last week his midfielder Carlos Baleba was sent-off in the 2-1 win at Bournemouth after a controversial second yellow card for what appeared to be a fair tackle with Milos Kerkez. Baleba was subsequently suspended for the Southampton match.

Russell Martin was left “frustrated” with the decision to disallow what could have been a winning goal for Southampton against Brighton & Hove Albion. Cameron Archer thought he had given the visiting side to The Amex Stadium the lead when he fired home from Ryan Fraser’s cross after 68 minutes.

Fabian Hurzeler accused Russell Martin of showing a lack of respect following their bust-up in the aftermath of Brighton’s 1-1 draw with Southampton on Friday evening. Kaoru Mitoma opened the scoring for Brighton but Southampton equalised in the second half through Flynn Downes.
