The Baldwin Park woman who allegedly shot at employees of a California Closets Monday before being killed by police during a South Gate traffic stop was an employee of the Huntington Beach store.

Authorities said the call came in shortly before 5 p.m. about a shooting near North Miami Avenue and 31st Street.

Osha Copeland died of gunshot wounds to the left hand, wrist and chest after a shooting that happened around 8:20 p.m. at the first block of South Highland Avenue, in West York Borough, according to the York County coroner’s office. The death was ruled a homicide, the coroner said.
