This week’s winter storm comes on the heel of a storm in the Kentucky-area that brought flash flooding and killed at least 10 people.

About two inches of snow were reported across much of Middle Tennessee Wednesday morning. Here is how much snow Nashville and surrounding areas received.

Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for two areas of Michigan, both calling for some heavy snow and possibly difficult travel conditions on the roads. These two advisory areas are also hundreds of miles apart and have different timing, so let’s separate it out for you here:

Another major influx of winter weather impacted major cities in the Plains and Midwest before the heavy snow charged eastward into areas suffering from recent flooding in Kentucky and Tennessee.
