Wicked has become an instant hit at the box office, with the movie musical debuting with a record-breaking $114 million on opening weekend. That number helped Wicked open as biggest box office launch of all time for a Broadway adaptation.

Currently, the only way to watch Wicked: Part One is in cinemas. However, following its theatrical run, fans can expect the Universal Pictures film to become available to stream on NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock.

Wicked is rated PG for “some scary action, thematic material, and brief suggestive material,” which means parental guidance is suggested, and it might not be suitable for the youngest audience members.
