We all have grown up watching movies where a thief silently watches the situation in the police car, and when the moment is right– WHAM! and flees from their clutches. The same happened in Michigan after a handcuffed woman successfully fled from a police car.

A woman, arrested on theft charges, stole a police cruiser and led law enforcement on a chase — all while handcuffed, according to Level Plains Police.

About an hour after her escape, she allegedly broke into a home on Peck Street, but remained on the run until she was caught Tuesday morning.
