If implemented, the new setting will simultaneously set Chrome as the default browser and pin it to the Windows taskbar.

Launch Microsoft Edge and sign in to your profile to pin an Edge profile to your taskbar. Click the three-dot menu at the top right, and go to ‘More tools’. Then, select ‘Pin to taskbar’.

Microsoft announced plans to allow Windows apps to pop up notifications asking you to pin them to the taskbar, as well as make them your default apps.
