After making a run to the postseason in 2023, the Browns brought in Dorsey to be their new offensive coordinator after Alex Van Pelt was surprisingly fired by the team in the wake of their wild card loss to the Houston Texans.

The Cleveland Browns wasted no time to fire their offensive coordinator, Ken Dorsey, following their 35–10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night. The Browns also fired offensive line coach Andy Dickerson. ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reported the news Sunday morning.

The Browns quickly began fixing a brutal, broken season. Hours after finishing 3-14 with a loss in the finale of a season that was expected to carry into the playoffs, Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and offensive line coach Andy Dickerson.

BEREA, Ohio — The Browns turned heads last season when, after a dramatic run to the playoffs, they reconfigured many of the key pieces of their offensive staff, most notably moving on from Alex Van Pelt as offensive coordinator and replacing him with Ken Dorsey.

The Browns were last in total points this season with fewer than 15 per game, and close to last in total yards and rushing yards.

This is the second interview for the Browns after interviewing internal candidate Tommy Rees, who spent the season as their tight ends coach and passing game coordinator. Rees is considered a strong contender but the Browns will continue to shop around. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Browns and London will meet on Friday.
