Texas reports a minor measles outbreak due to low vaccination rates. Health officials urge vaccinations to prevent the spread.

The U.S. Marshals Service announced in a Thursday news release that it had joined the Waller County Sheriff's Office in the search for an escaped inmate.

Measles has returned to Texas, with two cases confirmed in Houston last week. No cases have been found in Central Texas, but measles is a worry for health officials, causing Austin Public Health and the Texas Department of State Health Services to issue alerts.

Local officials are investigating after discovering 14 stolen cattle, including eight dead cows, in an abandoned trailer in Houston County.
