Lebanon will file a complaint to the U.N. Security Council against Israel for constructing a concrete wall along Lebanon's southern border that extends beyond the "Blue Line", the Lebanese presidency said on Saturday.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there’ll be no Palestinian state and that Hamas will be disarmed — by force, if necessary — as the US seeks UN Security Council approval for a Gaza plan that anticipates Palestinian statehood.

Speaking at a tense cabinet meeting, he also rejected any Palestinian state west of the Jordan River and condemned violent incidents involving ultra-Orthodox protesters and West Bank settlers.
