The four-time major champ played at Spyglass Hills for Thursday's first round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. And he delivered a hole-in-one on just his sixth hole of the season.

The Northern Irishman is beginning his week at Spyglass Hill, with his Friday round being played at Pebble Beach. On his sixth hole of the day (the 15th at Spyglass Hill), McIlroy made a slam dunk hole-in-one, which put him at -3 through six holes.

Rory McIlroy has suggested that the PGA Tour could scale back the number of tournaments it stages each year in order to combat “fatigue” among golf’s fanbase.

McIlroy, 35, played his first match with his Boston Common Golf team on Monday, losing to fellow TGL co-founder Tiger Woods in overtime. He then traveled from Florida to California to make his first start of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
