New U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, in one of his first acts in the job since being appointed by President Donald Trump, has revoked the personal security detail and security clearance for Mark Milley,

The Pentagon’s inspector general will review the conduct of the former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who has been a vocal critic of the president.

Pete Hegseth is also reportedly considering demoting Mark Milley, with a review board set to analyze whether he took actions to "undermine the chain of command."
