Some 170 Venezuelan migrants are set to arrive in the Central American nation of Honduras from the United States, the Honduran government said on Thursday, before being transported "immediately" back to Venezuela.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement transported 177 migrants from Guantanamo Bay to Honduras for final removal to Venezuela, according to a post on X from the agency.
The U.S. government and a Venezuelan state airline flew 177 Venezuelan migrants from Guantanamo Bay to Honduras and on to Venezuela on Thursday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security said.
The nearly 200 migrants detained at Guantanamo Bay have been cleared out of the military base, with all but one person flown back to Venezuela following successful negotiations with the South American nation’s leader, according to news reports.
