The 49ers disappointingly finished last in the NFC West with a 6-11 record, but Kittle was one of the team's few bright spots. He put forth a strong season with 78 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns across 15 games on his way to earning his sixth career Pro Bowl selection and second-team All-Pro honors.

The San Francisco 49ers have one of the best tight end of this generation in George Kittle, and they have been trying to work out a contract extension for him. Oh, and it is good news for Niners fans, too, as NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the two sides have ended their dispute and have agreed to a monster deal.

A report at the start of last week indicated Kittle and the team were far apart in their negotiations and Kittle did not report for the first days of voluntary work with the team.
