While the NBA has a grueling 82-game regular season that tests the mettle of all 30 teams, the NBA Playoffs are a marathon in their own right. After the six-month regular season, the NBA postseason is a two-month slugfest culminating in the NBA Finals.

The state tournament consists of five rounds and will be a single elimination. The top eight teams from the 6A, 5A and 4A conferences and eight at-large qualifiers from the 6A-4A will make up the tournament.
