Jordan Binnington stopped 31 shots for the 16th shutout of his career and set the St. Louis franchise record with his 152nd victory as the Blues beat the New Jersey Devils 3-0 on Wednesday night. Binnington's franchise record win came in the 298th game of his NHL career and moved him past Mike Liut.

Jordan Binnington made 31 saves and became the St. Louis Blues' all-time victories leader during a 3-0 win over the New Jersey Devils Wednesday night in Newark, N.J.

Binnington set the record in the 290th start of his career, surpassing Mike Liut, who had 151 wins in 339 starts with the Blues from 1979-85. With Binnington on the verge of the record recently, Liut, who has known Binnington since he was 16 years old and been his agent for more than a decade, wrote a tribute to him for The Athletic.
