A 65-year-old man who authorities say may have been ice fishing was found dead in Cherry Creek Reservoir on Tuesday. The reservoir is located in Cherry Creek State Park in the southeastern part of the Denver metro area.

Ice conditions at Cherry Creek State Park are “pretty dicey” after recent warm weather spell, Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokesperson said.

Investigators believe that Perry Bertsch was ice fishing at the reservoir, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said.
