A California Highway Patrol officer who died after he was involved in an overnight crash in Culver City may have suffered some sort of medical emergency, authorities said Wednesday.

Bristol Parkway was closed in both directions from Green Valley Circle to Uplander Way, until about 9:25 a.m., the Culver City Police Department announced.
