A poll shows that more than half of New York voters want a challenger for Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul even as the governor’s approval rating has increased. The Siena College poll of 834 registered state voters found that 57% of respondents would prefer “someone else” be elected governor instead of Hochul, as reported by Fox News.

Over half of the survey’s respondents also said New York should support the President-elect Trump’s promises to deport people who are in the country illegally.
