In less than a week, two human trafficking operations have been busted in Oakland County, the latest involving a Waterford man who allegedly prostituted women out of local hotels and motels, controlling them with violence and drugs, and gaving them crack cocaine to keep them awake so they could work, sometimes for days at a time.

A 43-year-old Waterford man was arraigned last week on numerous felony charges in connection with a human trafficking enterprise he was allegedly operating. Quincy Bland was arrested on Nov. 26 and arraigned the following day on two counts of engaging in a human trafficking enterprise resulting in injury/commercial sexual activity,
