Jets defenceman Colin Miller was hit in the throat by a puck in the 1st period of the game against the Red Wings a few days back. He left the ice in some pain, and was on his hands and knees in the tunnel leading to the dressing room before leaving for further medical assessment.

Jets defenseman Colin Miller, who took a puck to the throat during Saturday's game vs. the Red Wings, has a fractured larynx and will be sidelined at least two weeks.

He left Winnipeg’s Saturday matchup against Detroit at the end of the first period after getting hit in the neck by an Albert Johansson dump-in.
