There is no off-season for pro wrestling. Less than a month after the conclusion of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, WWE holdits annual Backlash Premium Live Event.

WWE Backlash, the premium live event following WrestleMania 41 has officially been announced for St. Louis this May. This morning, WWE issued a press release to announce that WWE Backlash will take place at the Enterprise Center in St.

Following a record breaking instalment of WWE Backlash in 2024, the first Premium Live Event to take place in France, the company has announced that after taking their annual post-WrestleMania PLE international over the past two years, the 2025 edition of Backlash will be returning stateside this coming May.

March 14, 2025 – WWE today announced that Backlash will emanate from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, May 10. The event will feature St. Louis native Randy Orton in addition to WWE Superstar John Cena who will make his first Backlash appearance since 2009 as he continues his year-long farewell tour.

Although general admission tickets aren't on sale yet, the WWE has announced that a presale for tickets will occur on March 19 and 20, with the full sale happening on March 21 on Ticketmaster. For fans wanting to experience Backlash more lavishly, numerous OnLocation packages are on offer.

WWE has announced several PLEs for 2025 already from WrestleMania to SummerSlam and a return to France for Clash In Paris.

Taking to X to do the honours, Randy Orton revealed that Backlash will take place on May 10 in his home city of St. Louis. Set to appear in his home city, the WWE also revealed one more WWE Superstar who would be joining the Viper.
